Our organization would like to contribute US$ to the Foundation for the Global Compact in 2008:

See suggested amounts below. Of course, larger contributions are most welcome.

Companies with less than 250 employees:US$ 100
Companies with 250 – 5,000 employees:US$ 1,000
Over 5,000 employees:US$ 5,000

We would like to make this a recurring contribution for 2009 and 2010.

In addition to our general contribution, we would like to be recognized as a sponsor in the context of one or more of the following Global Compact events, tools and publications.

Donors understand and agree that the Foundation’s use of funds contributed for any particular Sponsorship Opportunity will not be restricted to cover the cost of such Opportunity and may be used in support of the United Nations Global Compact generally.

*Two types of recognition will be provided:

Tool/Publication Sponsor: Name recognition on the Global Compact website where the project is profiled and on the final product/publication
Event Sponsor: Name recognition on the Global Compact website where the event is profiled, name and logo recognition on the event material (e.g. agenda, participant binder, meeting report) and logo recognition on banners at the event site

Whether contributions to the Foundation are tax deductible will depend on the tax laws of your country. In many countries, contributions to charities, like the Foundation, are tax deductible as a business expense for companies. The Foundation is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the US Internal Revenue Code.
